So....yeah. That was beautiful but pretty daggone scary, landing straight into a mountain on a runway about the size of a postage stamp.
Most dangerous airport in the world, but we lived to tell the tale! Only laugh/cried twice today, once on the flight and once while crossing the first (of two) suspension bridges. 😳
Light trekking day - only 3 hours from Lukla to the village of Phakding. Most days will be much longer.
Truly beautiful here, and weather is lovely. No problems with altitude so far.
